Trisha Davidson is a Senior Tax Manager at Yetter/Sales Tax Institute and passionately shares her knowledge and skills to help others effectively manage their sales and use tax spend to minimize liabilities and maximize savings. Her 30 years of experience broadly encompasses Federal, state, and local tax compliance, consulting, and auditing throughout the U.S., with a specialty in sales tax. She works closely with companies to educate them on sales tax, bring them into compliance with nexus and registration requirements, limit liability through Voluntary Disclosure Agreements and audit defense, and implement sales tax software with their selling channels.
Trisha began her tax career at GE where she worked in a variety of roles in sales tax, property tax, and license tax for 13 years. She worked for 15 years at Allyn International and lead the Tax and Global Trade Departments in compliance and consulting services. She attained her CMI – Sales Tax designation in 2014. She joined Yetter/Sales Tax Institute in September 2020 as a Tax Manager and was promoted to Senior Tax Manager in October 2021. As a leader, she provides support and guidance specific to each team member to be successful and reach their fullest potential. She wholeheartedly believes in the culture of the company and genuinely demonstrates its values.
In her free time, she enjoys exploring the beauty of nature outdoors by being on the water in a kayak or personal watercraft, hiking in the mountains or national parks, and spending quality time with family and her dog.
